GREATER COLUMBUS ARTS COUNCIL TO HOLD WORKSHOP FOR PROJECT SUPPORT GRANT APPLICANTS

Columbus, Ohio - The Greater Columbus Arts Council will hold a free workshop to offer guidance and answer questions for GCAC Project Support grant applicants from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thu., June 3 at GCAC’s offices, 100 E. Broad St., Suite 2250.

The workshop will provide an introduction to the GCAC Project Support program, including the guidelines and application process, and assistance for nonprofit organizations that seek GCAC funding for arts projects. Individual artists seeking funding for specific projects are welcome to attend the workshop provided they are working or intending to work in conjunction with a nonprofit fiscal agent.

Registration for the workshop is not required, but is encouraged. Those interested in attending should contact Ruby Classen, Grants & Services Manager at (614) 221-8406 or grants@gcac.org. GCAC holds four grant writing workshops annually prior to its quarterly Project Support deadlines. The next Project Support application deadline is Thu., July 15, 5 p.m.

Poets chosen to perform at the event will read at appointed times in the Poetry Corner tent - a location dedicated to poetry performance. Musical performers will play on either the Main or Club stages. Food vendors will receive a booth space to sell goods throughout the event. Creative menus are encouraged.
