Artist's Narrative

Carol Milligan is well known to the children of central Ohio. She has enriched students' lives with the magic of a story well told. Having performed over 2,000 times in Ohio schools, she has become an old friend to literally thousands of children who eagerly await her arrival each year. She has also performed at venues across the country, including the Corn Island Storytelling Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, the Columbus Arts Festival, the Indianapolis Children's Museum, and Young Author's Conferences in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.

Programs Available

Storytelling With A Twist (Grade levels K-6)
This performance includes new tales, original tales, old tales, songs and just plain fun. Teachers and students will hear about books in a way they never have before in a combination of theater and storytelling that brings books to life. The use of action, props, humor, and surprise as Peanut Butter and Jam "acts-out" the books exposes students to good literature in a most unusual way. The students will want to read the books!

Activity Options:

Storytelling Performance
  • Duration: 40-45 min.
  • Fees: $230/ $400 for two back-to-back; plus mileage ($.55/mile) if outside of central Ohio
  • Requirements: Multipurpose room or gym floor. Electrical outlet. Large table.
