COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Greater Columbus Arts Council Board of Trustees approved nine (9) Artists in the Community grants totaling $4,910.
ARTISTS IN THE COMMUNITY: Support for artists is provided through Professional Development Assistance, Supply Grants and Performing Artist Travel Grants. These support programs give artists in the community the opportunity to enhance their skills and create work that helps drive the vibrancy of the arts in Columbus and Franklin County. Applications are accepted monthly and are funded on a first come, first served basis.
Because of overwhelming participation this year in the AITC programs, the Arts Council has closed the programs for the remainder of 2014. The programs will reopen in January 2015.
